Every person is unique, as is every magickian’s practice. Therefore, this description is meant to give some idea of what is usually involved in becoming a part of our network of individuals sharing and exploring together. This does include learning from us and gaining initiation from magickians who are part of a linage going back to Aleister Crowley and others. Our teachings are undertaken in the spirit of sharing, openness and guidance.

The outer membership of The Dionysus Group begins with at least a year and a day of exploration directed by our founder GEN or a senior member of the group. There is no fee for this, but we ask that outer members contribute via a donation or other method of supporting us in exchange.

The human, in person,  transmission of a current, teaching and initiation is key. While we will never claim to have all the answers, we can help others to open to their unique path. Books are resources for the training of the mind and the mental plane, but the magickal experience is key for genuine spiritual evolution and self empowerment. Invitation to be initiated and taught in person happens only when we have built a foundation of mutual understanding and see an aligned current or avatar in you.

If you will be actively involved in our erotic practices that must be considered and developed between those involved. Enthusiastic consent is at the core of any sexual magick practice. We also take steps to avoid sexually predatory people within our sphere, as that does not lead to a genuine transformative environment.

The first step toward full initiation is a period of contemplation. We must strip away the influences of the profane world to the first essence to receive full initiation on the path.
